He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Florence and Ermal Florence (Smith); his wife Betty June Harner; his granddaughter Carrie Florence; his brother Harold Florence; and his brothers-in-law, Ted Smelser and Laverne Wendel.
He is survived by: his children, Leisa A. Pearson (Tim) of Coldwater, Mark A. Florence of Coldwater, Douglas G. Florence (Annie) of Coldwater and Lorna K. Miller (Rusty) of Foley, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Seth Pearson (Laura) of Coldwater, Ohio, Lindsey Youngpeter (Tony) of Coldwater, Ohio, Garth Pearson of Coldwater, Ohio, Nikki Gerlach of Coldwater, Ohio, Riggs Florence of Coldwater, Ohio, Samantha Hamilton (Nathan) of Coldwater, Ohio, Joshua Willmann (Chad) of Trenton and Briar Miller of Foley, Alabama; his siblings, Larry Florence (Nancy) and Janet Smelser; and his sisters-in-law, Jan Florence and Kathy Wendel. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
