He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Knapke and Regina Knapke (Eyink); his wife Judith Knapke (Wilker); his siblings, Angela (Norbert Prenger), Eileen (John Fleck), Walt (Floriana Fleck), Irma Fleck and Roger Knapke; and his in-laws, Don Wilker, Stan Wilker, Terry Wilker, Linda Wilker and Debbie Wilker.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin (Hala Knapke) and Bradley (Angie Knapke); his grandchildren, Ben Smith, Tucker (Jenna Smith), Ellie and Carter Knapke; and also, Paisley and Luke.
