He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Kay Dippold (Romer); and his parents-in-law, Mary Dippold, Verna, Louis Buschor (Jake), Donnie, Eldon Welch (Dink), Lowell (Bud), Ann Romer, Janet Romer, Vivian Romer, Myra, John Delzeith, Julia Stahl, Joe Hoening, Harry (Lefty) and Margaret Romer.
He is survived by: his children, Chris (Jane Dippold), Linda (Ken Goettemoeller), Amy (Kevin Leugers) and Tim (Carrie Dippold); his grandchildren, Isaac (Kiya), Seth (Taylor), Bryn Dippold, Michael (Megan Goettemoeller), Jared, Adam Goettemoeller, Bryce, Katie, Claire and Ty Dippold; his great grandchildren, Connor Goettemoeller and Drew Dippold; and his brother Jim (Betty Dippold). He is also survived by siblings and in-laws.
