He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hartings and Mary Hartings (Evers); his grandson Brad Hartings; and his parents-in-law, Evelyn, Louis Bertke, Thelma, Lawrence Broerman, Alfred Broerman, Lester, Dolores Hartings, Virginia Hartings, Virgil Hartings, Norma, Jerry Heuker, Mildred, Lawrence Dues, Vic, Martha Wuebker, Ralph, Irma Wuebker and Dolores Marie Wuebker.
He is survived by: his spouse Alfrieda (Wuebker); his children, Connie (Bob Homan), Ron (Viv Hartings), Jack (JoAnn Hartings), Steve (Karen Hartings), Gary (Carol Hartings) and Douglas (Shelly Hartings); and his parents-in-law, Pat Broerman of New Bremen, Betty, Jack Romer of St. Henry, Linus, Carol Hartings of Coldwater, Myron and Patty Hartings of Mendon. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; siblings.
