With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Reed of Coldwater, Ohio, who passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Daniel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Reed and Bertha Reed (Pontius); his wife Barbara Reed; and his son John D. Reed. He is survived by: his son Thomas D. (Evan Reed); his daughter-in-law Jan Reed of Coldwater; and his brother-in-law Loren H. Dillon of Upper Sandusky. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Briarwood Village Activity Fund.
