He is survived by: his wife Vera Schmidt (Bey); his children, Linda (Adrian Wenning), Diana (Michael Entrup), Darlene (Greg Stewart) and Ronald (Vicki Schmidt); his grandchildren, Ben, Katie Wenning, Derek, Amy Wenning, Brittany, Adam Jardy, Nick Schmidt, Joe, Cassie Schmidt, Blake Schmidt, Ashley, Brock Dubry and Brandon Dellinger; and his parents-in-law, Ivo, Rosie Schmidt of Coldwater, Virgil, Velma Schmidt of Chickasaw, Eileen Eckstein of Greenville, Paul, Janet Schmidt of Millford, Urban, Sandy Schmidt of Millford, Helen and Doyle Layne of Troy. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, as well as siblings.
