He was predeceased by: his brother Rusty Hurt; and his grandson Silas Hurt. He is survived by: his children, Ernest, Oscar, Woodrow and Pamela Hurt; his sisters, Gail Lunsford, Brenda Gullett and Sherry Lunsford; and his grandchildren, Addalyn and Randy Hurt.
