She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Bates and Rosalie Lowry Bates Roberts; her brother Woody Bates; her parents-in-law, Clarence and Garnet Remy; her brothers-in-law, Ronald Maxwell, Randy Nichols, Bob Williams, Marvin, Thomas, Bill and Jim Remy; and her great-niece Leanna Maxwell.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Mary Fain; her niece Tina Scarrett; her children, Amy Brewer (Jamie) and David Remy (Shawna); her grandchildren, Makayla Derrow (Nick), Keesha Brewer (Codie Massie), Curtis J. Brewer, Taylor, Victoria (Oria), Addisan, Paislee and Hazel Remy; her great grandchildren, Jaydon Derrow and Hudson Massie; her sisters, Diana Fouse, Grace Maxwell, Irene Smith (Kenny), Suze Nichols and Jane Williams; and her brothers-in-law, Dick Remy and Jim Fain. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
