Roy L. Shields Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy L. Shields of Coal Run, Ohio, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on December 30, 2022 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy L. Shields to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Shields and Florence Smith Shields Mason; his wife Helen DeLong Shields; his stepdaughter Roberta Valentine; his granddaughter Miracle Ray Suttle; his son-in-law Arnold Suttle; and his stepgranddaughter Heather Valentine.
He is survived by: his children, Zanetta Shields, Sonoma Shields of Coal Run and Lorne Shields of Coal Run; his stepson Hank DeLong of Macksburg; his grandchildren, Bruce Valentine and Shawn Cobb; and his pet Bubbles. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
