He was predeceased by: his parent Clarence W. Layne; and his brothers, Keith Vincent Layne and Clarence David Layne. He is survived by: his parent Inez Lawless Layne; his siblings, Jon Anthony Layne and Linda Alice Vinson (Robert) of South Point; and his sister-in-law Linda Bowman Layne of Coal Grove. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
