It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Lee Nance Thacker of Coal Grove, Ohio, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Patterson and Harlow Nance; her siblings, Paul Nance, Jim Nance and Brenda Beacon; her grandchildren, Chelsey Barry and Tony Blankenship; and her son-in-law Eugene Ferguson.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Shawn Thacker, Cathy Joe Nance and Mellissa Ann Blankenship; her siblings, Danny Nance (Ruth Nance), Jeff Nance, Sharon Walls (JC Walls), Lois Carter (John Carter) and Joyce Blair (Mike Blair); and her grandchildren, Kayla Barry (Journey Dotson), Cody Blankenship (Michaela Blankenship), Erica Thacker, Shayne Miller, Gavin Miller, Hendrix Miller, Axl Miller, Sophia Miller, Asher Miller, Megan Thacker (Zachary Allen), Shawna Thacker (Jacob Adkins), Eric Thacker Jr., John Ross and Alex Thacker.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hall Funeral Home & Crematory (625 OH-775, Proctorville, OH 45669). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rome Cemetery (31 Township Rd 1194, Proctorville, OH 45669).
