He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Carter and Martha Francis Adams Carter; and his siblings, Francis Carter and Clell Ray Adams Walters. He is survived by: his significant other Becky Russell; his stepchildren, Summer Simpson, Savannah Henry and Brandon Henry; his granddaughter Gabriella; his siblings, Andrew Carter, Earl Carter, Jean Haddox, Eva Carter, Peggy Adams and Teresa Carter; and his close friends, Janet Russell, Kenny Suttles and Tim Pauley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
