It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merrill David Humphreys (Coal Grove, Ohio), who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Merrill may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herald L. "Slim" Humphreys and Sadie Humphreys (Dickess). He is survived by: his wife Edith Willis Humphreys; his sons, Darrell Humphreys (Sarah) of Rock Camp and Jon Humphreys (Betty) of Ashland, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Hunter Humphreys (Saige), Lauryn Humphreys, Meredith Humphreys and Landon Humphreys.
