She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Pinkerman and Mildred Pinkerman (Rowe); her husband Charles Gordon Markel, Sr.; and her siblings, Ira Pinkerman, Jr., Paul Raymond Pinkerman, Thomas Franklin Pinkerman and Charles Wm.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Gordon Markel, Jr. of Ironton, Mavis Colleen Armstrong of Ironton and Anna Marie Markel; her grandchildren, Charles Anthony Markel (Tony), Michael Neal Armstrong and Cheyenne Marie Bellomy; her great grandchildren, Isabelle Elizabeth Markel, Angelica Kay Dawn Richmond, Travis Lee Markel, Madilyn Noel Armstrong and Leo Rowan Foster; and her sisters, Gloria June Schwab and Betty Eileen Deen.
Family is requesting in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to Community Hospice Care Center 1480 Carter Avenue, Ashland, Kentucky 41101.
