He is survived by: his wife Glenna Jean Bowman Kouns; his children, Nancy Kouns Meyers of Huntington and Patrick Kouns (Leigh Ann) of Lowell, Indiana.; his brothers, Russell Kouns (Martha) of Whitmore, Kenny Kouns (Emma Jean) of Georgetown, William Kouns (Carlene) of Bradenton, Carroll Kouns (Pam) of Russell and Harold Kouns (Ursula) of Georgetown, Kentucky.; his sister-in-law Connie Kouns of Beckley; and his pet Nevel.
