He was predeceased by: his parent Walter Holbrook; his daughter Christina Stahl; and his siblings, Dorothy Nance, Carl and John.
He is survived by: his parent Della Barker Holbrook; his wife Carol Nance Holbrook; his children, Nathan Holbrook of Coal Grove, Donald Holbrook Jr. (Andrea) of Kitts Hill and Nellie Adkins (Joe) of Flatwoods; his son-in-law Dave Stahl of Brecksville; his siblings, Wanda Payne of Proctorville and Burl Holbrook of Ironton; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Chanda (Todd), Corey (Brittany), Annie (Ryan), Owen, Brycen and Olivia; and his great grandchildren, Landen, Holden, Brigham, Xavier, Dezmond and Braxton.
