He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Gunter and Betty Gunter (Ross); his siblings, Joy, Thelma Lewis and Kenneth Gunter (Sarah); and his nephew Kenneth Gunter.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Gunter (White); his daughters, Melissa Turvey (Kenny) of Pedro, Maggie Braden (Chad) of Ashland, KY, Karen Egbert (Shane) of Coal Grove and Amy Finn (Robert) of Horse Cave, KY; and his brother Stanley Gunter of Flatwoods, KY. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
