He was predeceased by: his parents, Linville Mays and Grace Hiser Mays; his sister Elizabeth; his father-in-law Bobby Nichols; and his sister-in-law Dierdra Nichols (Dee).
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Nichols Mays; his siblings, Ronald Willie Mays (Connie), Sam Mays (Tammy), John Mays and Susie Mays; his mother-in-law Mary Alice Nichols; his sisters-in-law, Cheryl Nichols Adkins (Timothy Adkins) and Valerie Nichols Taylor (Terry Taylor); and his children, Riley, Bella and Owen.
