He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Wood and Virginia L. Wood (Gilkerson); and his siblings, Allen L. Wood and Virginia K. Wood. He is survived by: his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hunter Lenz (Bric) of Sparks, NV, Ryley, Quincey Dinan of Clyde, Sabrina, Logan and Sara Walchak of Michigan; his siblings, LouAnne Hatt (Chris) of Clyde and Erma Holland of Clyde; and his nieces and nephews, Jason Dinan of Clyde, Jeremiah Dinan (Stacie) of New Mexico, Michelle Walchak (Ed) of Michigan, Kim McCormick of Michigan and Brian Hathaway (Aly) of Michigan.

Memorials may be given to the Willows of Bellevue or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
