He is survived by: his wife Iris Claar; and his children, Stephanie Schee (Dan) of Huron, OH, Wendy Claar-Alafita, Bunny Robles (Pastor Scott), Chris Claar (Angie) of California, Richard Claar of Florida and Charlie "Bud" Claar (Louise) of Florida. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
