He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Davenport and Helen Davenport (Ward); and his brothers, Donald and Harold Davenport. He is survived by: his wife Starr Davenport (Wobser); his children, Donny (Melanie), Monica Orshoski (Keith) of Sandusky, Ron Davenport (Lisa) of Fremont, Steffani Dauch (Joseph) of Castalia, Jeffrey Davenport of Fremont, Nicole St (Paul) and Garrett Davenport of Sandusky; and his siblings, Eldon, Marvin Davenport (Barb) and Beverly Barr (Jim). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
