With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert James Hoffert (Clyde, Ohio), who passed away on November 15, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy M. Hoffert and Naomi Hoffert (Conrad); his wife Edna Mae Rathfelder; his children, Robert Hoffert, II and Kathleen Hoffert; his stepdaughter Judy Widman; and his sister Phyllis L. Amend.
He is survived by: his children, Richard A. Hoffert of Fremont, Susan Alejandro (Tony) of Glendale, AZ, Rebecca Mouch (Brian) of Williamsburg, OH and Debra Hoffert of Fremont; and his stepchildren, Dianne L. Widman of Lewes, DE, Christine M. Widman of Naples, FL, Ronald R. Widman of Fremont, James R. Widman, Jr. of Fremont, David S. Widman of Tiffin and Jeffery C. Widman of Huron. He is also survived by many grandchildren and step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
