He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ross and Rachel Gallagher (Krauss); his sisters, Ruth Schwochow and Helen Jean Gallagher; and his nephew Philip Schwochow.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Slessman; his nephew Gary Schwochow of Fremont; and his brother-in-law Robert Slessman of Attica.
