He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Withem and Nellie Withem (Reeves); his siblings, William Withem, Shirley Walker, Lewis Withem and Belford Withem; and his brother-in-law Ralph Philips.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Withem (Shumaker) of Clyde; his children, Richard Lee Withem (Dee Owens) of Clyde and Trina Irene Lovins of Clyde; his grandchildren, Brook Lovins (Erin), Skyler Lovins (Lillie), Shayna Withem-Mendoza (Michael Flores) and Adam Withem (Kristen); his great grandchildren, Cayleb (Christina Martens), Sawyer, Vivien, Phoebe and Nora; and his sister Jessie Philips of Lancaster, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
