She was predeceased by: her grandson Chad Smith; and her brother Ed Thurn, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Smith; her sons, Charles Smith (Irene) of Plainwell, Michigan, Michael Smith of Clyde and Thomas Smith (Vickie) of Clyde; her grandchildren, Brad, Beth, Derrick and Christina Smith; her sisters, Margaret Bouyack (Herb) of Clyde and Rosalie Moyer of Bloomville; and her aunt Mary Coleman.

Memorials may be made to the Clyde Library or St. Paul Lutheran Church or the Sandusky County Humane Society.
