She was predeceased by: her husband Weldon "Pete" Rettig, Jr.; and her children, Jana Rettig and Jon Michael. She is survived by: her sons, James W. Rettig (Jan) of Perrysburg and Jefferson Rettig (Joyce) of Bellevue; her grandchildren, Samantha, Kendra, Tyler, Jenna, Dakota, Christian, Kevin, Kyle and Robert; and her siblings, James "Bud" Markins and Doris Simmons.

Memorials may be made, if desired, to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's.
