He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrle E. Roberts and Marie G. Saunders (Hatfield); and his siblings, Eugene Roberts, Margena Dimitrovski, Carolyn Walkup and Phillip Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Roberts (Palmer) of Clyde; his children, Jeffrey P. Roberts of Fostoria, Gail A. Roberts-Cobb of Fremont, Jody L. Jess (Gregory) of Fremont and Leslie A. Setchel of Clyde; his grandchildren, Paul C. Roberts, Brittany M. Roberts, Angela M. Cobb-Martinez, Matthew J. Cobb Jr. (Kayle), Austin P. Jess, Cydne'E. Jess and Azrael Wilder; his niece Margaret Douglas-Garcia; and his siblings, Roger Roberts of Columbus and Barbara Woodruff of Clyde. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
