With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew Laub (Clyde, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Matthew departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Matthew. Though Matthew may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leroy Laub Sr. and Anita Louise Anderson. He is survived by: his sons, Nick Laub, Joe Laub of Bellevue and Justin Albright of Bucyrus, Ohio.; and his siblings, William Laub Jr. (Cindy Jett-Laub), Barbara Ellington (Nate Ellington), Victoria McDougal (Troy McDougal) of Sandy and Cynthia Karol of Apex. He is also survived by seven nephews, two nieces, nine great-nephews, and two great-nieces.
