It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester D. Bigelow of Clyde, Ohio, who passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Cleora "Sadie" Bigelow Moyer; and his stepfather Richard L. Moyer. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Maxwell (Sam) of Medina and Stephen Bigelow (Tabatha) of Newport, Ohio; his grandchildren, Justin Maxwell (Rachel), Brian Maxwell (Devin), Lindsey Demeter (Brian), Mekayla Brickner (Daniel), Destiny Hlad (Kevin), Toby Bigelow, Brittany Greathouse (Nathan) and Josh Saunders; and his great grandchildren, Summer Maxwell, Carter Maxwell, Daisy Maxwell, Delilah Maxwell, Ella Maxwell, Lucy Maxwell, Maxon Demeter, Theo Demeter, Evren Demeter, Lucas Brickner, Ivy Brickner, Benjamin Greathouse, Kolt Hlad and Kade Hlad.

Donations in memory of Les should be directed to Sandusky County Humane Society, 1315 N. River Rd., Fremont, OH 43420 or to St Paul Lutheran Church Youth Ministry, 147 W. Forest St., Clyde, OH 43410.

“I only knew Les for the last 12 years of his life, but he was a good friend to me. He was full of energy, faith, wit and wisdom and I truly enjoyed my time with him. I worked with him in youth ministry, and I saw him weekly at bible study and VDC reunion meetings for nearly 10 years. He cared deeply for children and all animals and was always good for a joke or two to lighten the mood. I know his Lord was smiling when He welcomed him with "Well done, good and faithful servant"! Ray Wasson”
