He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah Gilbert; his children, Douglas Newsome (Kendra) of Clyde, Joshua Newsome of Bellevue and Cassie Bricker (Andy) of Delaware; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Marissa, Conner, Blaze, Caden, Addie and Olivia; his brothers, Shirl Newsome of Kentucky, Ernie Newsome of Clyde and Jack Newsome of Fuquay-Varina; his parents, Morgan Newsome and Tilda Newsome Frantz (Page); and his brothers, Earmal Newsome and Douglas Newsome.
