He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Roach (Smith) and George Edward Roach; his wife Carol Jean Brown; and his brother Travis Roach. He is survived by: his children, Mark A. Roach (Wendy) of Clyde and Daun Church (David); his grandchildren, David, Elizabeth (Leigh), Jacob (Natasha), Joshua, Hannah, Miriam and Aaron (Kelli); his great grandchildren, Jack and Mykena; and his sister Claudia Laurendau of Clyde.
