She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Salazar Silva and Julia Salazar (Garza); her husband Carlos Mendoza, Sr.; and her siblings, Guadalupe Salazar, Jesus Maria Salazar, Jose Leonel Salazar, Gamaliel Salazar and Eliazar Salazar.
She is survived by: her sister Lea Ruth Gonzalez of Green Springs; and her children, Delfina Mendoza (Gary Gorbet) of Houston, TX, Carlos Mendoza, Jr. (Diane Humphrey) of Clyde, Jorge Mendoza (Beverly) of Clyde, Orfalinda Garcia (Mike) of Fort Worth, TX, Humberto "Tico" Mendoza (Deb) of Clyde, Samuel Mendoza (Sharon) of Green Springs, Elizabeth Mendoza of Clyde, Patricia Withem (Scott Leiter) of Clyde, Lydia Laurer (Steve) of Fremont and Arlene Bliss (Glenn) of Fremont. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
