He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Hintz; his children, Connie McClanahan of Clyde, Kathryn Standifer of Green Springs, Karen Coots (Tim) of Republic, Carolyn McClanahan of Green Springs, Loretta Konard (Dan) and Daniel "Charlie" McClanahan; and his siblings, Sue Rohrbach of Clyde and Arvil McClanahan (Gertie) of North Carolina. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
