He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Blasetzky and Jacqueline Blasetzky (Benner); his son Matthew Phillips; and his siblings, Michael Blasetzky and Karen Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Blasetzky (Hummel) of Clyde; his children, Damian Blasetzky of Monroeville, Joshua Blasetzky (Miranda) of Luckey, Miranda Blasetzky of Norwalk, Dustin Phillips (Cara) of Fremont, Willie Phillips (Sami) of Clyde and Carrie Crosser (Rick) of Fremont; and his sisters, Melanie Mischler (Ronald) of Fremont and Luann Cutcher (Timothy) of Oak Harbor. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service (504 E McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
