He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathy Smith; his sons, Jason Davenport of Arkansas, Nathan (Elizabeth Davenport) and Matthew Davenport (Mckenzie) of Clyde; his grandchildren, Jeremy Price Davenport, Rhonda Price Davenport, Benaiah Davenport and Galilee Davenport; and his brothers, Gary Davenport (Penny) of Clyde, Darl Davenport (Deb) of Clyde and Randy Davenport (Theresa) of Green Springs.
