He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles, Sr. Laughlin and Rita Laughlin (Burke); his sister Awanda Downing; his stepmother Delma Laughlin (Traxler); and his half-sister Pat Emmer.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Laughlin (Nyburg); his sons, Joseph Laughlin (Jody) of Clyde, Chad Laughlin (Nicole) of Clyde and Chi Laughlin of Brooklyn, NY; his stepchildren, Amy Dyer (Chad) of Perrysburg, OH and Andrew Bahnsen (Tara) of Portage, OH; his grandchildren, Seth Stockmaster, Noah Laughlin, Olivia Laughlin, Zachary Keith, Canaan Wurm, Lance Laughlin and Braylee Laughlin; his great grandchild Lennix; his sister Barbara Rumschlag of Tiffin; and his half-brother Larry Laughlin (Maud) of Mansfield. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren.
