He is survived by: his wife Margie Howard (Swiney); his children, Eddie Howard of Bloomville, Tony Howard (Wendy) of North Carolina, Tammy Kinn of Tiffin and Dawn Kurtz (Vincent) of Tiffin; his stepchildren, Michael Clevinger (Kim) of Republic, Ronald Clevinger (Melody) of Green Springs and Tammy McFellin of Florida; and his sisters, Mary Levans of Bloomville, Shirley Bollinger (Wayne) of Attica and Irma Adams of Michigan. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
