We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2023, at the age of 83, Orley Kyle Matson of Cloverdale, Ohio, born in Dupont, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Matson; his grandchildren, Cory and Kyle Recker; his siblings, Nolan Matson (Ursula), Norma Priest (Walter), Catherine Brinkman (Mel) and Rolland Matson; and his brother-in-law Bill Looser.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Wannemacher; his children, Laurie Knippen (Gene) of Ottoville, Kyle Matson (Sheri) of Flower Mound, TX., Brenda Recker (Earl) of Ottawa, Julie Kuhlman (Kurt) of Lima and Greg Matson (Danielle) of Ashburn, VA.; his grandchildren, Dustin Knippen, Kyle J. Matson, Kevin Recker, Craig Recker, Amanda DiSabato (Xavier), Jamie Kuhlman, Derek Kuhlman, Kylie Kuhlman, Joshua Kuhlman, Emery Matson and Estelle Matson; his great grandchildren, Saige Matson and Baby DiSabato; his half-brother Jack Matson; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Matson and Lillian Looser.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Barbara's Catholic Church or Ronald McDonald House.
