He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Grothause and Margaret Grothause (Sanders); and his brother Wayne Grothause. He is survived by: his wife Linda Maag; his children, Jason Grothause (Natalie) of Austin, TX., Joey Grothause (Sarah) of Pandora and Mindy Reynolds of Fort Jennings; his grandchildren, Breckin, Lacey, Aaron, Brock, Tressel, Brynn and James; and his siblings, Timothy Grothause (Cindy) of Pandora, Marcia Sheppard (James) of Defiance and Mary Ann Gable (Daniel) of Middle Point.
