He was predeceased by: his parents, Jahugh Harter and Della Harter; his wife Pearl Harter; his children, Joan Clarke, Pamela McGuffin, Laurie Strasser, Raymond Harter and Alan Harter; his stepdaughter Dinah Rollison; and his sisters, Martha Fox and Dolores Grim.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Stump and Lynn Beckman; and his stepdaughters, Denise Osbourne, Patty Sense and Peggy Weller (Tim). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
