He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd E. and Mary Getz, Sr. (Smith); his son Bruce L. Getz; and his siblings, John, Dennis, Mary and Janet.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Getz (Schneider); and his sons, Boyd Getz III and Bennett Getz. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
