He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Smith and Betty Smith; and his sister Deborah Kaye Miller. He is survived by: his children, Natalie and Alex Smith; and his siblings, Sandra Smilek (Matthew), Donna Bloomfield (Earl Colbry) and Bernard Lee Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
