She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd "Tom" Newton and Mary Elizabeth Newton; and her nephew Matt Newton. She is survived by: her husband Joe Grimes; her daughter Rachelle Sowers; her siblings, Barbara Newton, Vickie Kent and Tommy Newton (Tricia Young); and her nieces, Ronica Kent, Gigi Chaney, Amy Newton and Kellie Watson (Seth). She is also survived by several great nieces & nephews, cousins & many friends.
