He was predeceased by: his parents, Bige Hicks and Twila Melton Hicks; and his siblings, Bruce Hicks, Donna Mae Hicks and Giovonnia "Jodi" Whitaker.
He is survived by: his children, Glenna Parks of Cincinnati, OH, Tolman Hicks Jr. of Largo, FL, Jason Hicks of Vevay, IN and Chris Hicks of Cleves, OH. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
