He was predeceased by: his child Robin Rickard; his parents, Cora Reed and Rollie Reed; and his brother James Reed. He is survived by: his wife Janice Reed; his daughter Marilyn Means; his grandchildren, Dwayne Means, Robert Rickard (Cindi), Fred Rickard (Kathy) and Molly Nickell (Gary); and his siblings, Jerry Atkins and Barbara "Mitzi" Kahlmeyer. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren.
