He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Maddin and Lucille Maddin; his sons, Phillip Maddin Jr. and Bryan Maddin; and his sisters, Reda Hollander (Ken) and Phyllis Spradlin (Jim).

He is survived by: his wife Jean Maddin; his children, Tanya Maddin, Ken Niederbaumer (Teresa), Robert Maddin, Kim Lloyd (Paul) and Nicole Maddin (Donnie); his grandchildren, Macey, Nathan, Colton, Bryan, Tyler, Aaron, Gary and Karen; and his siblings, Michael Maddin (Ellen), Ken Maddin (Cherie), Wanda Anderson (Don), Kathy Jung (Steve) and Debbie Runck (Jay). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his honor can be made to Loving Hearts Hospice Foundation, c/o the funeral home.
