She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Schiering; her daughter Sheila King; her parents, Ida Huxel and Henry Huxel; and her brother Harry Huxel.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Schmidt (late Marcia), Paul Schmidt (Denise), Donna Elsen (Jack), Janette Thompson (late Thom) and Joanne Hawk (Mike); her grandchildren, Sandy, Deanna, Stephanie, Brian, Debbie, Laura, Annie, Joshua, Emily, Hannah, Cheyenne and Korey; her great grandchildren, Austin, Noah, Payton and Nora; and her siblings, Yatz Huxel, Ida Mae Landers, Ray Huxel, Bill Huxel and Betty Forrester. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
