He was predeceased by: his son Michael Burgess; his parents, Opal Burgess and Clyde Burgess; and his sibling Lalelyn. He is survived by: his wife Mary Burgess; his daughter Lori Renner (Mike); his stepsons, Mike Self (Jenny) and Sean Self (Rachel); his grandchildren, Caleb, Cayden and Cody; his great grandchildren, Brysen and Gracelyn; and his siblings, Fauna Richie, Beverly Heath and Faye.
