He was predeceased by: his son Jimmy Sutton III; his parents, Flossie Sutton and Garfield Sutton; and his sibling Dale Sutton. He is survived by: his wife Juanita F. "Sis" Sutton; his children, Jay Sutton (Tracy) and Jorene Singer (Andrew); his grandchildren, Kylee (Chris), Korynne, Jarod, Jensen and Gideon; and his brother William Sutton (Janice).
