He was predeceased by: his wife Emily Irene "Cricket" Ashcraft; his parents, Mamie Clay and Virgil Ashcraft; and his brother Eugene. He is survived by: his children, James V. Ashcraft (Ellen), Anthony W. Ashcraft, Emily F. Krause (late George), Irene K. North and Douglas M. Ashcraft; and his siblings, Virgie Estine Smith, Evelyn Nielsen, Wanda Lemon, Louise Huff, Otis, Clarence and Roy Ashcraft. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
